208 Volt 2-wire is generally achieved by pulling two hot wires off 3-phase 120/208 Wye or 208 Delta, or Highleg to center tap off high leg delta.

Since each of these three phase systems also offers 120volt for lights, and a dimmer can be used for lights, then I wonder what you are using dimmer for?

208 volts.can be controlled by turning off one hot of the two hot wires.
Install dimmer on one of the hot wires, and see what happens.
Is the dimmer rated for 208 volts?

Rule of live by: Each unit must have its own breaker. Cooktop needs 30 amps and a double oven needs 40 amps. Never combine the unit as the amps flow if too high can cause the wires to melt. I hope this helps. Be safe!

did you check your fuse box and the outlet,also check the block where the cord connects to the dryer and make sure your getting 240 there,could be a fuse or the cord, if that's ok L1 connects to the heating element through the timer, a thermal fuse, the operating thermostat, and the hi-limit thermostat. The heating element then connects to L2 through the motor centrifugal switch.you need to read these parts out to see what's bad,hope this helps

First check that you have good continuity on the earth conductor from the 200A switch to the grounding rod and that the connections are tight. Beware any live connectios.

If this is o.k check the condition of the ground rod as best you can looking for any corrosion of the rod.

If this loks o.k you may need to get the impedance (ohms) of the ground connection checked and compare this to the level recommended by the heater/generator supplier.

In the worst case you might need a new ground cable and rod(s) to get the required level.

No, as long as the heater on the label says 240 volts. You would hook up your 240 v to black and white wire

Your machine requires 208-240 volts to operate with each leg being about 120 volts. Move refrigerators are 120 volts so even though you have 20 amps you probably only have 120 volts.

You can go to the Bunn website (bunnomatic.com) click on Commercial then on Publications then Illustrated Parts and Service manuals and download the manual for your machine that shows how the wiring hooks up in the machine and the type of cord the machine requires to handle the voltage.

The plug you need must match the receptacle in the wall and there are numerous 220volt plugs and receptacles on the market. Don't get a dryer plug instead try for a twist lock as they are more reliable.
