i had the same problem. you have to contact the phone company that provided the phone. when i got my w490 it was tmobile so i had to contact them, they then emailed me the number.

You need to have the mobile unlock You can do this online at www.mobile2mobile.net or www.unlockitnow.com or take the phone to a mobile center or tech to have it unlock for a fee, unlocking is not a free service.

Remember unlocking mobiles is not free, you can try www.mobile2mobile.net, www.unlockitnow.com or take it to a mobile service center and have them unlock it for a small fee.
