Make sure you have a very strong signal before you decide its not working. It can say its connected, but if the signal is weak, you still might not connect.

We have a wireless dlink router and cant seem to connect our cell phones or playstation anymore yet our laptop still has internet. our cell phones said always that we were connected to skitchnet which is...

Sounds like your WiFi router has gone back to factory defaults. There may be a button on the front of the WiFi unit that when pressed allows for a short period of time for your ps4 console and other devices to pair with it by selecting on those devices the same setting. This will allow the devices to work correctly.

Wireless internet is always poor

If you have a laptop you may need to check your wifi cards antenna connection, Or you may need to replace the wifi card or get a USB wifi card they are relatively cheap.

I cant get wifi and internet on my computer at the same time

Hi. Let's hava look at what you are doing.

I'm guessing that you have a cable modem a dlink router with wifi and a computer, right?
If you connect the cable modem to the computer you have internet. You shouild also have wfi but the wifi will not give you internet because it is disconnected from the modem.
The Dlink has to be connected to the modem but it will also need to be configured. To *** that you will need help from your cable company.
The connections should be. Modem connected to the outside world. Dlink connected to the Modem. Computer connected to the Dlink by either wifi or Ethernet.

Hi i Just bought dlink 600 i am using compaq and has iphone and internet tv all of them cant connect by wifi my compaq can only connect with a cable. on my tv it says internet connection failed. and btw cm...

ok first prep. we need to configure your router. to do that we need your compaq laptop directly connected to the dlink via ethernet cable. after securing the connection, try to open a browser, whether internet explorer or mozilla firefox. go to the address bar and type in, 192.168.1.1 it would ask you now for a username. username is " admin " password is " password " if it wont let you in, try "admin" for password. if it still cant, try to live it blank and just click on login. it would take you now to the dlink router page. there you can configure your wireless connection and set your network name. make sure to click apply settings after configuring it. then try to check your wireless connectivity again. this should work.

WHY WIFI CARD WON'T WORK

Sad to tell you, but your Gateway had the drivers pre-installed. If you still have the Gateway and its disks, you could get the drivers off of that disk.
