See if you can get the globe out of the machine and take it to a specialist globe / lighting shop. Im sure they would have one or know where to get it. Once you have the globe out, you should be able to see written on the globe , the make and type of globe and the wattage. Go online once you have this info and have a look. I doubt if Canon make their own globe for a printer, they would have someone else make it.
Hello,
Lowes and Home Depot each have many glass replacement globes that will fit most any ceiling fan light assembly.
You will need to know the diameter of the glass where it goes into the metal part of the light and the depth that the globe needs to be to clear the lgiht bulb.
There are two ways to remove the globe. one is there are screws on top of the glass. two is you grab the glass and turn it counter clockwise. and some tomes there 3 metal clips that hold it in place you just need to pull the glass globe straight down.
go to your parts suppler and ask for a H4 globe pop your bonnet and remove the plug on the back of your head light then remove the rubber boot paying attention to which way it cam off then you will find a spring clip unclip it but be careful not to damage its anchor point. remove old globe an throw away take new globe out of box DO NOT TOTCH THE GLASS OF THE GLOB AS IT WILL CAUSE THE GLOBE TO BLOW STAAIGHT AWAY AFTER FITTING IT handle the globe by the metle bass and fit it, refit spring clip and rubber boot fit the plugf and check the operation of the light
If yours is the same as the model 04890 that I looked up on the net, you will unscrew the center nut of the light fixture being carefull to not let the fixture drop to the floor. Once you have the center piece off you will be able to unscrew the bulbs and install new ones. Be carefull and be sure power is off before you do this.
