Blowing fuse - KLH ASW10-120 Subwoofer

Remove the fuses to the circuits that blow. Then one at a time, install a fuse, turn any component on and see if it blows the fuse. Have you had an accident recently ? If so, maybe a wiring harness has been damaged and causing your problem.

Ive had my bike at a workshop for the last 4weeks getting a freshn up . ... If the fuse isblowing that quick you should be able to find it quickly , probably .... eliminated the dash and reduced the amount of things you need to look at. .... If there is nothing left inside the little glass tube, it's a fast blow. A slow blow fuse will usually have a spring and some other material that make up the slow blow mechanism. slow blow fuses used to also have 'SB' stamped on the metal end caps. The fuse holder may also tell you. If you cant figure it out, put in a fast blow and see how long it lasts, If if blows when you turn the volume high, you should try a slow blow.

Likely there is a blown fuse but a battery won't blow a fuse on its own. Change any blown fuses and if that fixes the issue and the fuse doesn't blow for awhile then your ok but if the fuse blows quickly then you have an issue with the electrical system and you need to take it to a shop

Fuses have different blow characteristics. Such to protect components differently. An extremely fast fuse would protect sensitive components like tweeters and slower fuse will allow transcients to pass and blow on long time fault. If you put a slow blow in place of fast blow, it won't blow as quickly, but it could allow the protected device to be damaged. In reverse, you put a fast blow in place of slow blow, it will blow at normal transcients and be a nuscience to always replace.
You can cross to a fuse of different manufacturer. The reliable manufacturers will have detailed datasheet and subsitute or similar fuse to the fuse you are looking for.

possibly you have a schafted wire in the wiring loom at the fuel injectors, or at the fuse junction box. (short) hit a bump just right and it shorts out blowing the fuse.

Your four wheel drive push button system has only 3 components, so there is a way to narrow down what is blowing the fuse:

the system includes the push button panel and indicator light, the shift control module, and the shift control motor.

The shift control motor is the only part that can draw enough current to blow the fuse. If for some reason the transfer case is jambed up, that could blow the fuse too...So if you are planning on attempting repair yourself:

first, unplug the connector off of the shift control motor, and see if the fuse still blows.. if not, then remove the shift control motor from the side of the transfer case and plug it back in to the harness and see if the fuse blows. If so, then the shift control motor is bad, if the fuse doesnt blow then you need to check out your transfer case.

the new radio install is causing this if the power was taped into the starter system. rec. removing wires then try to see if you can blow your starter fuse
