SOURCE: my screen rotated

If the strip which is attach to the display (lcd) connector is damage/if the Lcd is damage etc. these problem occur ..so, my comment is to visit nearest mobile repairing shop. But if you wish to do follow this very carefully to avoid further damage.First Open the Case gently...remove the tin plated lcd cover and clean it.Remember once if the lcd is mishandling your phone will not show anything on the display.Good luck

Dell Inspiron N5110 screen rotated how do I get it back to normal

That is a software setting. You probably accidentally hit a shortcut key that rotates the screen.
Go to the graphics options (right click on the desktop/wallpaper), there is probably a rotation option (tab). Set the rotation to normal (0 degrees).

You can rotate your entire screen orientation, when press the combination key:
Ctrl + Alt + [Arrow Key].

Up arrow - Return the orientation to normal;

To be able use the screen 90 degre rotation how do you rotate the mouse?

This software worked for me:
http://www.math.uaa.alaska.edu/~afkjm/techteach/?q=node/70
When I rotated the screen, I was able to use the touchpad normally, where when I moved my finger up the touchpad, the cursor moved towards the top of the screen, regardless of rotation.

Rotate screen

Screen rotation is provided via software from the Graphics Card provider. You won't find rotation options in the normal display resolution/refresh rate settings screens. You will have to download the associated NVidia or ATI (or other) advanced features software from the web.

Rotate screen back to normal

Computer users occasionally have a need to rotate, or "flip," a monitor display to be better able to read long documents or to view pictures. Because rotating a computer screen is such a basic function, modern operating systems (Windows XP and up) include hot keys and display options that enable the user to rotate the computer screen by 90, 180 and 270 degrees. Rotating the computer screen allows for more display options. For instance, when rotated 90 degrees, a 1680x1050 monitor becomes a 1050x1680 monitor, which provides more vertical pixels than a standard display.

Windows XP/Vista Monitor Orientation
Minimize any windows or programs to the taskbar. Click the desktop. Press "CTRL" + "ALT" at the same time. Press one of the arrow keys to flip the monitor orientation by 90, 180 or 270 degrees. The left arrow rotates the computer screen 90 degrees; the down arrow rotates the computer screen 180 degrees; the right arrow rotates the computer screen 270 degrees; the up arrow resets the monitor orientation. Rotate the computer screen in Windows Vista by opening the Control Panel, searching for "Tablet PC" and changing the "Orientation" drop box to the desired rotation. b> Windows 7 Monitor Orientation b> Click the Start menu at the lower-left hand part of the screen, and open the Control Panel. Select "Display," then click "Change display settings" from the left column. When using multiple monitors, select the monitor that you would like to rotate. Click the drop box next to the "Orientation:" option. Select the desired rotation and click "Apply." Click "Keep Changes" or "Revert," depending on preference. Click "Apply" in the Display Settings window. Click "OK" to finish.

My 2 year old grandson pushed a button and rotated the monitor sideways. How do I get it back to where it is supposed to be?

You can rotate your screen in display property.
For that if you use windows then go to startmenu -> control panel-
Then you can see there your graphic driver utility like "Intel graphic driver".
Then click on settings there is Rotation set rotation 0 Degree.
Then apply and ok .
Then it is normal.
When you power up the computer press F8 then enter in enable vga mode. That mode gives normal screeen without graphic problem. You can change there that rotation settings if you have difficult in rotate screen.

Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks for using FixYa.
