I think you should buy plastic bodied 1mm in diameter cable for your store. I have seen many department stores use these kinds of plastic seal in the bag so that people cannot add more stuff to the bag after buying the stuff. http://www.tydenbrooks.com/Products/Indicative-Seals.aspx provides wide range of seals. Check which one is fit for your store bag. I highly recommend cheap plastic ones for temporary use.

How can i ship fudge to a friend in Maine without it melting? thanks!

Pack it in dry ice. Be sure both the dry ice and the fudge are well wrapped separatly.and insulation material around both. How much dry ice you ask? If you wrap a small chunk of dry ice with several wraps of newspaper it should last quit some time. It sounds like a trial and error problem. Where to buy dry ice? It's hard to find but stores that use it might sell some.

Best way to store a printer ?

Treat them like you would a sack of potatoes. A cool, dry place will do well. If you have the orginal packing, reuse it and then place in plastic bag with some descentant(sp) to help keep it dry and/or humid under control. If no orginal packing, then place in plastic bag, wrap well and again use some descentant. If no descentant, try some popcorn(wrapped in paper, outside printer but inside bag) or baking soda(Arm&Hammer). If you feel popcorn may attract rodents and the like, then place in strong metal/plastic case. Leave all ink carts in place and it must be properly shutdown after last use and allow it to "park" itself as it normally does. Make/carve and then place a sturdy peice of foam/plastic to keep prthead from moving on its carriage rail further, then wrap.

I'm looking for a recommendation for a shop where I can bulk buy plastic bags online?

Try the Carrier Bag Shop, not only do they sell in bulk but I think you can customize your order as well. Good luck.

I'd like to clean my Canon ip4600 so as to store it for future use. Can this be done please?

If you are not going to use the printer for a number of months, you will need to clear the printhead of ink. Remove the ink cartridges and stretch electrician's plastic electrical tape to seal the ink outlet. Put the ink cartridges in a zip lock plastic bag for storage
Remove the ink cartridge carrier clean with warm water and put in a zip lock plastic bag for storage.
Remove the printhead and soak the printhead, printhead down in warm distilled water overnight. After the printhead has soaked, replace the water with another warm distilled water bath and soak for a couple of hours. This should clear the ink from the printheads. Let the printhead dry and one it is dry, store it in a zip lock plastic bag.
Clean your printer with a damp cloth and wrap it in a plastic bag along with your installation disk and installation instructions.
Your printer and components are now ready to be stored.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

I took the filter assembly apart, now I can't get it back together. There's a silver medal ring, a big cotton back, an inner plastic seal and an outer plastic seal. Somehow, they all fit back together....

The cotton bag wraps around the hepa filter - the blue plastic part will not be visible once the bag is in place. The silver ring sits inside the cotton bag to hold the sides of the bag against the sides of the vacuum top-half. DON'T pull the plastic inner seal and outer seal apart. They snap together and snap onto the lip of the vacuum top-half. It's a bit of a struggle snapping the seal back onto the lip.

Cannot use our magnetic stripe cards to login. They scan ok but do no work.

Wrap the magnetic strip in a plastic bag (the kind of plastic bag you get at a grocery store) and then swipe the card and it will work just fine. I learned this working in gas stations when the customers card did not work it would work when the strip was wrapped in plastic

There are no known vacum bags for a model wd06350 vac

This type of vacuum does not use a bag. If you are worried about clogging the filter cartridge try using a paper filter for a shop-vac. They are relatively cheap and are available at most hardware and department stores. These are made to simply wrap around the big cartridge. A rubber band will hold it in place.
