Hotpoint aquarius extra wma 36 trips the electric off 10 mins in to wash cycle B/C/D. can you help. if it in wash cycle k (quick wash) it works ok

Sounds as though the heater is shorting out, there could be a crack in the heater casing and water is getting into it so when it is energised once the tub has filled it would short out. The quick wash does not use the heater so it is not energised on the K wash. Domestic Appliance Help

My Dyson DC28 stopped running when I was get the fur off my car mats. Now it won't run. The buttons do light up. Help?

Hi Sara, it's Jack at Dyson.

If your DC28 shut itself off while you were using it, it sounds like it may have overheated. Like most Dyson vacuums, it includes a safety device which shuts the vacuum down for protection if it begins to overheat. This could be due to a blockage, or because the filters are overdue for a wash.

DC28 has two filters, which should be washed at least once every 3 months as shown in the video below. Use cold water without detergent, and allow at least 24 hours for them to dry completely before replacing them:

To check for any blockages, please follow the steps shown in our online Support guide: http://www.dyson.com/support/dc28/dc28-animal/diagnosis-root-menu/dc28filterwashvid/wand-suction-dc28

I'm confident this will help, but if you would like some further advice from our experts after giving this a try, please call us on 1-866-693-9766 (US), or 1-877-397-6622 (CA).
