C2150 wont turn off - Nordic Track NordicTrack C2150 Treadmill

Without insulting you, I assume that you have waited long enough for the incline calibration to complete (while standing on the treadmill, say one or two minutes). I also assume that you would agree that moving the machine has somehow caused it to malfunction. Check that the new location is reasonably level and that all four "feet" touch and rest on the floor. If nothing remedies, it may be time to call a technician.

I believe your talking about the Controller, not a computer board. This device may turn on, however; the instructions and sequence of activity will not work. Many reasons for this to happen; and usually the problem is traced back to a power surge. Major components and equipment need to be plugged into a UPS (Uninhabitable Power Supply) with special protection to avoid damage to vital electronics. If plugged into the wall (directly) there are no protection devices and current can pass through a device and damage the controll unit.

get a new battery

adjust the Reed SWITCH, see the diagram attached it. Clean it, test it of open or faulty. Tight the connector very well. Replace and clean the contacts batteries( if they have).
Tight the ribbon cable inside.
If the problem persist, after you did, replace control display board

Finally if the problem persist, you can have transformer control faulty, inclination motor faulty, or controller board faulty, since this PCM, CONTROL everything except the POWER INPUT +EMI+fuse or breaker. sincerely.

have you remove the motor shroud? unplug unit first, you should be able to see a 15 amp ceramic fuse ( white colored) if you have a multi-meter check continuity if open replace it and if it blows the fuse again then the motor control board has a direct short to ground and the board will need to be replaced. Just wondering has this unit ever been serviced or any maintenance done on it? if not! suggest you do so.
