How do you empty the sentbox in incredimail?

?

A: The 'Deleted Items' folder contains the email messages deleted from your other folders. It is recommended that you empty the 'Deleted Items'folder from time to time, to avoid the build up of old and unnecessary email, which may slow down your email environment.

To empty the 'Deleted Items' folder, simply right-click the folder and select 'Empty 'Deleted Items' Folder'. If the 'Deleted Items' folder is not emptied, please follow these steps:
  1. Right-click the IncrediMail Tray Icon (orange envelope), located in the lower right corner (near the computer clock), and select 'Exit'.
  2. Windows 2000 or XP users: Browse to the following location:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Your Profile(Logon Name)\Local Settings\Application Data\IM\Identities\{Long Number}\Message Store

Windows 98 or ME users: Browse to the following location:

    C:\Windows\Application Data\IM\Identities\{Long Number}\Message Store
  3. Delete the 'Deleted Items.imm' and the 'Deleted Items.imh' files.
  4. Open IncrediMail. Next time you wish to empty your 'Deleted Items' folder, simply right-click the folder and select 'Empty 'Deleted Items' folder'.

Deleting Folders in Outlook

Delete a folder
  1. On the Go menu, click Folder List.
  2. In the Folder List, in the Navigation Pane, right-click the folder you want to delete.
  3. On the shortcut menu, click Delete folder name.
Notes
  • The default Personal Folders file (.pst), which is set as the default folder for receiving new messages, cannot be deleted. If you have duplicate Personal Folders, you can remove the duplicate folders from the Folder List. Removing the duplicate folder doesn't delete the data file, which remains on your computer's hard disk.
  • When you delete a Search Folder, only the folder is deleted. Search Folders are virtual folders that contain views of all Items meeting certain search criteria. The items shown in the deleted Search Folder remain in their original folders.

Cant delete a folder off my desktop

What folder are you trying to deleter off your desktop? Remember that, if you are IN that folder, then it is in use and can not be deleted. Go to a folder ABOVE that folder in the Tree and then try to delete. Remember, to delete a folder, everything in and below the folder must be deleted also. It may be necessary to delete them separately first.
