Depending on what OS is on the phone:
Press and hold the HOME button - your recent apps will display, then just swipe them to the left, and it closes them. You can also do this to select apps you have recently used - instead of swiping, just click on them.
If that does not work, there are apps available that manage the apps on your phone. Go to Google Play Store and search AppKiller, then browse the different ones available.

How can I extend my iphone battery life, any solutions?

Hi,

>Uninstall the Apps which u do not use regularly, and also try to clear the cache.
>Turning on the screen always can drain the battery.
>If possible try to charge the phone To full(100%) at once instead of charging it always (in bits).
tip

Save battery power by turning off your apps..

I`ve discovered that my I-Phone`s battery power kept running down really fast, the problem is that all the apps that you use thru-out the day stay open and drain power from the phone. I found out I had like 40 open at once!!
to tun them off.. get to you apps page and double click round button at bottom of phone. you will get a row of 4 apps at the bottom of the screen. hold down one of the apps, and they will start shaking. just click on the "-" minus sign and begin to close them all out. it does not delete the app, just closes it. welcome to more battery life!!!

What is draining my battery in my iphone 5

What version are you on? Please ensure to check what all apps are using location services under settings privacy location service... Disable location service for all unwanted apps. Also under location service there are system services which use location services and drain your battery. Switch it off for most of them except find my iphone and time zone. This should help big time.

How come sometimes my screen works real slow, or not at all. but when I restart it the screen works gust fine,

You might have too many apps or you might have too many apps that are active in the background that are slowing your tablet down. Uninstall unused apps or turn them off through settings. Apps always sync in the background, even when you don't use them. When too many apps are running at the same time, they drag down the wifi speed. Go to Settings>Wireless and Networks> Data Usage, view all the apps that are actively syncing. Also, in Settings>Device>Battery, you'll see which apps are actively draining your battery (if this is also an issue). You might be surprised which apps are either draining your battery or always syncing.

Iphone 4 battery

Hi,

If your iPhone battery gets low quick, try disabling features within your iPhone which may help increase battery life.

1. Decrease the screen brightness of your phone.
2. Turn off 3G when not in use ( 3G can decrease the battery life greatly )
3. Turn of Location Services in Settings. ( GPS can decrease bettery life greatly )
4. Turn off bluetooth.
5. Charge your iPhone up to 80% everytime and then stop charging. ( Studies show that charging up to 80% everytime can help increase the life span of your iPhone battery )

Easily drains battery even when not in use.

You would have to specify which phone you are using but here are some possible solutions.
Keep in mind that even if the phone is not in use it will use some battery power.
If your phone does not have a strong signal, sometimes constant searching for a signal will drain your battery rapidly
If you are using a smartphone, there may be background apps running, try using a task manager app or use the phones settings to close apps.

IPhone 3G battery problem

My battery on my iphone used to only last a day when limiting my use. And when I tried to use it normally with all the apps and music and calling people it only went for 10mins and then turned off.

How I fixed this:
It's an ongoing solution. I charged it up until it said 100%, then used it all up until it shut down again. And then I charged it til 100% and then depleted it again. Repeat over 2 weeks and your battery life should get back to normal. It worked for me and now my iPhone works better than ever!

Battery drains with in 4 hours, cell gets heated during call

Next time you call motorola, ask them to change your phone and not the battery. Your phone has the issue. The battery is being used up due to some error on the phone itself.
