I cant unlock osd of my samsung monitor , sync master 551v

OSD LOCKED/UNLOCKED
This function allows you to lock the current control settings, so that they cannot be inadvertently changed. Press and hold the MENU button for several seconds. The message "OSD LOCKED" should appear. You can unlock the OSD controls at any time by pushing the MENU button for several seconds. The message "OSD UNLOCKED" should appear.

you may have locked the OSD (on screen display for adjustments)
Press and hold the MENU button for at least 10 seconds to unlock it.

press and keep pressed all four buttons simultaneusly hold it for 10sec you will see osd unlocked massage

you dont have problem with your monitor, check your cpu very well am very sure you have problems with your system board

your osd menu ic is damaged change it. its in the CRT board.

I think the press to on button in your monitor has struck and its locked the switch permenently.That is why You can not telease it and get a click sound as the menu is always enabled.
Try releasing the button with a pin or a sharp tool without any damage.
