SOURCE: Water leaking out of freezer door water dispenser

The fill valve that supplies the water may not be shutting off completely. Also check to see that the lever is closing completely.

SOURCE: Ge profile side By side ice maker water leak

This sounds like the float mechanism has gone bad. Remove it and have a look. It may be the float or the switch on it that is bad. There is also a solenoid valve. Parts kits are available. Shut off the water first!

Remove the freezer bins and shelves.
Remove the rear freezer panel.
The drain is on the bottom center of the freezer after the rear panel is removed.

SOURCE: GE Monogram refrigerator/freezer problem/ice dam in ice maker

I have had the same problem with ice forming. I found the problem is from the ice maker. The water fill tube delivers water to a plastic piece that acts like a funnel. The water goes through this plastic piece into the ice maker. Ice forms in the plastic funnel piece causing the water to overflow into the ice bin and freezer.

Model TFX25PR ; Does the ice cube maker require any lubrication ?

The type ice makers made for your model and other models require no lubrication and are one of the most used parts of your refrigerator especially if there is a large family and lots of ice used daily. They never seem to stop working while the average refrigerator last 15 to 20 years the average life of an ice maker is only 5 years. Even ice makers that have replaceable parts the repair parts are more expensive in most cases than complete replacement. Below is an example of an average ice maker that Whirlpool and Maytag uses that have the Teflon coating in the ice slots. Your model is for GE,=> Model WR30X10093 Ice Maker and has electronic controls and no replaceable parts. Thanks, Sea Breeze

I have a GE model TPX 24BPBA WW and have a water leak on my floor. I disconnected the icemaker water feed and leak stopped. What's wrong

do you live in an area where there are rodents such as mice ? if yes there is a possibility that they have eaten the plastic water line that feeds from the ice maker water valve to the ice maker itself . when they get thirsty you would be surprised what they will actually chew through to get water. regardless the cause, you probably have a broken water line between the ice maker water valve and ice maker unit .

Ice maker stoped working

Ice maker Diagnostic Test:

- Remove the ice bucket
-Turn the ice maker off, wait 15 seconds than turn it back on
-Press the ice paddle three times, this will begin diagnostic test.
-PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH ICE MAKER DURING DIAGNOSTICS

-In 3 minutes you should see the rack inside turn 360 degrees
-AND the ice maker bowl should fill with water

-IF either DID NOT work, call 1-800-GE-CARES for ice maker replacement. A service call is approx $80. The $80 will be deducted from the part/labor if you choose to purchase/install parts from the service technician. If not, you will pay for the service call. Good luck.

Ice maker is leaking into the tray where the ice is dispensed causing the ice to become embedded into the tray

The ice maker usually is an easily removable assembly, lift and pull or something like that. It may be the little water line has cracked, plastic don't like being cold.

GE refrigerator

this may be water from the defrost cycle. if this drains to tray over compressor, check tray is not too full (water evaporates from heat of compressor) otherwise defrost water will go to a seperate container which may have a split or is overflowing. fault can also be caused by poor door seals which would produce too much ice on evaporator pipes
