Problems saving specific map packs to hard drive

You did not specify what your problem is exactly, but most problems with DLC can be fixed by reinstalling it.

My Stimulus map pack stopped working after a while too, so to fix it I redownloaded it from Xbox Live. To do this, go to the My Xbox category on the dashboard, then select System Settings, which is the last item in the My Xbox category. Then select memory > hard drive > games > Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and find the Stimulus Map Pack. Select it and delete it.

Now, to redownload it, press the Xbox Guide button and go to the Settings tab. Select Account Management, then Download History, and redownload the Stimulus Map Pack from there.

did you download Modern Warfare 2 to your hard drive?? If you have the space download your games to your hard drive cuts out lag time and errors.

The E68 is a weird error. Its normally from a hard drive failure. The underground xbox 360 scene says

THe E68 is a Hard Drive Error. The Hard drive is not properly configured: It could be a problem with the Hard Drive itself or a problem with the internal connection to the hard drive, Try removing the hard drive and playing without it.


If the xbox can play without the hard drive then this error can be caused by a problem with the fans that make them draw too much power, it can also be caused if you have unnecessary accessories attached to the console like an external fan unit. Attempt to remove unnecessary accessories first, and then necessary components such as the hard drive and USB devices.

If its the hard drive or your console causing the problems contact Microsoft they will probably fix your hard drive and maybe recover your game saves. On the newest games that info is stored on xbox live.

No, The only way for some to download it for you is to give then your hardrive because thats what is saved on. I heard the COD 5 was banned in germany. is it true?

THIS MYBE A CONSOLE ID ISSUE. CALL XBOX SUPPORT AND THEY WILL OPEN THE ID PATH. THEIRS NO MORE DOWNLOADING TO YOUR FRIENDS SORRY.

just throwing this out there but maybe you dont have a good connection to xbox live marketplace and stops when its downloading?

I am sorry to say that you need that internet connection. The trial games store all the data they need on your hard drive. You can pick up a verizon high speed service usb for around 30 dollars a month.

i gone thur the same problem, im living outside the states for college, and my profile and points are american based, but xbox live wudnt allow me to download the map pack 1 or 2, option that i found out what you can do is (this is if your profile region setting s in the USA) have a someone from the states (in my case my brother) log in ur xbox live profile on xbox.com, and have that person purchase the map pack 1 or 2 for you. the reason why i had to go thu this s that, even tho i logd into my xbox live account thu the internet wer i am and tired to purchase it my location outside the USA, its wudnt allow me, and tells me 'not available in your region' ..i figured that if probly i get my brother to buy it for me in the states that it wud work, and it did, i just turn on my xbox 360 and it startd to download...i believe that xbox live is looking thu the IP address of wer u are making the purchase for the MAP PACK, i have download it both as of now...again, my region settings s USA and im living at south east asia...and it workd...but i still have a frend that lives down the street who kept pressing A and he was able to download Map Pack 2, but now he cant download Map Pack 1....another option that you can do if you dont know any1 in the states, is that you call the Xbox customer services and ask dem to make the purchase for you...

its not the account just the hard drive. make a new xbox live account.
