Follow these steps
-Click Start
-then click Control Panel.
-Click Appearance and Personalization, and then click on Personalization.
-In the Personalize appearance and sounds, click Display Settings.
-Click Advanced Settings, click the Troubleshoot tab, and then click Change Settings.
-Move the Hardware acceleration slider to Medium, and then click OK three times.
-Close Personalize appearance and sounds.
-By default the hardware acceleration will be high, so reduce the hardware acceleration to medium level and check.
If this didn't help you then simply get the Reginout to fix all the registry issues to that causing this annoying problem

Which operating system ?
Click start control panel display desktop you can select a different desktop from the drop down list or a browse button where you can select different pictures this may vary depending on your operating system also you can change the settings for more or less pixels or from the drop down list pick the appropriate level of color range or troubleshoot also select advanced then general dpi normal , larger or custom settings
Always click APPLY after making any changes windows 7 Open Personalization by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Personalization. Click Window Color and Appearance. Under Window Color and Appearance, click the color you want, and then click OK. Note If you see the Appearance Settings dialog box instead of the Window Color and Appearance window, the theme might not be set to Windows Vista, the color scheme might not be set to Windows Aero, or the computer might not meet the minimum hardware requirements for running Windows Aero. How to replace display

Flip the screen

Flipping the screen is part of the Display in the Control Panel. You have to go to the Settings tab then click Advanced and look for Rotation.

Click Start/Control Panel or Start/Settings/Control Panel then look for Display or Appearance and Personalization. Open the Display then click Settings/Advanced/Rotation.

How do i make the screen smaller

Make the resolution higher under the Display. Right Click on any open area on your desktop and select Properties. When the Display Properties window opens select the Settings tab. Change the resolution. The higher the resolution, the smaller the icons and the more things will appear on the screen.

You can also get to the display by clicking Start/Control Panel and look for Display or Appearance and Personalization. When the Display Properties window opens select the Settings tab. How can i save a picture as my screen saver

Assuming you are using windows XP on this:
Create a new folder in "my pictures " folder
Copy the images you want to use into there
On your desktop, RIGHT click and choose "properties" to open the display settings
Click "Screen saver" and choose my pictures slideshow
Click "settings" to open the options for this
Click browse to point to where you saved the images
Set the duration and timings to suit your tastes
Exit by clicking Ok and the OK to exit the display settings

Hi,
For Windows XP : Right Click on Desktop--> Properties--> Appearance--> Font Size, here you can able to change the size.

For Windows Vista :
  1. Right-click the Desktop background, and click Personalize .
  2. If a "Window Color and Appearance" window opens, click Open classic appearance properties for more color options . The Appearance Settings window opens.
  3. Click Advanced . The Advanced Appearance window opens.
  4. Advanced Appearance window showing icon font size settings.
