WD-52525 Hi. Have Mitsubishi wd-52525. Red LED indicator came up. I replaced lamp, same problem. New lamp, just like the old one will turn 1/2 power for about 3-5 sec and then will turn off, at the same time RED led goes on stady. Any Ideas?. Thank you. If you have a red led solid. check the fans and make sure they work. Sceond push both input and menu and see what the blink code is?

We have runn in to this with this type lamp, And we are a service center so we do hundreds of these. We too have had bad lamps straight from the box so best guess would to take the lamp back Mitshubishi will warenty the lamp for 90 days so act fast

a 41 error code for a short is usually caused by the power PWB. The power board will need to be replaced

Its much more likely that your getting a 34 error which is a lamp abnormality vaused by defective capacitors on the power board. You can get the V26 DLP power PWB repair kit at the following link that should repair the issue. Chances are your old lamp is still good.

Press the input/device button and the menu button at the same time. Green LED will blink a two digit code blink 1st digit short pause blink 2nd digit longer pause and repeat. Any number of problems can cause this same symptom.

If the red LED your refering to is the Status LED and not the Lamp LED then you have big problems. A red Status LED indicates no communication from the Format board to the DMD board (light engine). 1/2 the time caps on the format board itself the other 1/2 must send entire electronics package to Mitsubishi.

have you replaced the lamp? If so and it still lights up as red you need the V26 DLP PWB PCB kit to replace the defective capacitors on the PWB the kit has all the capacitors and instructions on CD

I get the same red lamp led indicator, bought the lamp and I am unable to locate the lamp inside the tv, took the lower back panel out and don't see anything that i can make out the lamp housing. is hard to replace the capacitor and where is the power board located. thanks a mill.

Lamps have been known to burn out the power supply to the DM assembly. If there is no visible damage to the lamp, your problem may be the power supply or the board. Good luck.
