It's the flexi connection from camera body to the screen that is at fault. Sometimes it touches connection depending on the position of the screen. It will gradually get worse and flexi ribbon cables are not really reparable. A new flexi is the only answer... Or say goodbye to it and treat yourself to the latest new model.

LG E500 starting with white screen

Yeah, the problem is the screen more than likely. I would bet you have a loose cable on the lcd screen. You'll have to take the lcd screen apart to get to the cable that is on the back of it at the top. unplug it and plug it back in and secure it with a piece of tape where the connections meet. Unplug the other end of the cable and plug it back. Also unplug the two cables that go into the LCD Inverter that sits under the LCD Screen at the bottom, then plug them back.

Before you take the screen apart, try plugging an external monitor on the laptop just to verify that the video card is good. The display should show up on the external monitor.

My 42 inch LG tv keeps going very dark on 1 side of screeen. Any solutions?

This problem is most likely caused by the T-CON board. It could be a bad connection of the cable from the LCD to the T-CON board. or the T-CON board could be bad. Sometimes you can disconnect and reconnect the flat cable(s) to the T-CON board and solve the problem. Else you can replace the T-CON board.

The T-CON board is the board that drives the picture to the LCD screen.

The display fades out unless I press on the plastic molding around the top of the screen. If I keep pressure there, the display works, but if I let go, the screen fades. What's the problem?

There is a loose connection inside your lcd monitor. This is not a user-serviceable case. Proceed to your local service center. Pressing or applying pressure to your monitor may cause some more trouble and defect to your laptop. Goodluck.

When I start my computer the display screen is red, but if I press down on the top of the display screen. It goes back to the blue start up color. What would the problem be and cost to correct?

The LCD is going bad, the replacement cost is about 200$ a ballpark figure keep in mind, first bring it to a repair shop and get a estimate, i usually don't charge for this. But this will depends on that specific shop that you bring it to. Good luck.

Laptop screen keeps going fuzzy!

The display connector contact on the motherboard is loose. If you can open the casing, you'll see a ribbon cable from the LCD part connecting to the motherboard. The connector is usually rectangular and connects downwards. Try pressing it in firmly.
