SOURCE: Line voltage Tstat installation Dayton D-F79 elctric shop heater

If I understand your post correctly....You state that you are hooking up a 240v heater and towards the end you speak of removing jumpers...W2 terminals..ect. It sounds to me your trying to us a 24v low voltage thermostat instead of a Line voltage thermostat. That's what I'd take a look at.

SOURCE: Is there a kit to change from propane to natural

Bill, the model number is good, but won't get anybody the part number of the gas valve. Basically, there are 2 issues to address, the pilot orifice size and the pressure regulator. Get the numbers off of the gas valve (OEM numbers, brand) (likely White-Rogers or Honeywell), and search via manufacturer for conversion kit. (Generally a spring and a pilot orifice). Should you locate a kit, be prepared to have someone properly adjust the manifold pressure once installed. Also, as the make things cheaper, sometimes they are built for one fuel or the other and sealed. You may end up buying a new gas valve. Being raised in a propane plant, I recall their skill-set far superior to general HVAC guys (like myself) in this arena. As propane conversions are a part of everyday life for them (temporarily making a furnace run on propane during construction and switching over once the gas line is hooked up), they are probably a good starting point!

Need wiring schematic for Wesco Model 2100 Electric Furnace (wiring diagram)

A electric heater has heat strip/s
a switch and 2 thermal limiting devices, 1 auto resetting, the other not resettable or serviceable by the user, tending to not be an economically viable option.
There are 2 hot legs of power and an earth/ground wire feeding any home or most businesses, every wire in every unit is either 1 of the 2 coming in to the building, Line 1 and Line 2.

Now if you know the sequence of operation and can recognize the components, thus locate them and are familiar with each as to what terminal is what, there is no need for a wiring diagram to tell you that 2 legs of power feed each load, be it high, low voltage, AC or DC polarity.
Every circuit requires 2 sides/legs of power Line 1 and Line 2.
Beginning on Line 1 go through the switch, to the load/device,
and from the device/load we return to the opposite side/leg of power from which we began.
Now if you do not know this and do not recognize the components thus cannot locate them other than tediously following both legs of power all over to where you know it must be anyways! as the unit in no way resembles a wiring diagram I see no use for a wiring diagram for those who know or do nor know the trade.

I need the diagram

You want wiring diagram? With recommended wire size?

This particular water heater has a factory-pigtail, and is direct-wired into octogon box, and appears to be 240Volt 6500 watts. Connect water heater to 40 amp breaker and 8 gauge wire.

Here is illustration:

Look at nameplate on device for amp and wattage rating to confirm exact power requirement.

Hello, Namalee -

I find that the Nordyne brand is what is called a "legacy brand" owned by Nortek Global HVAC.
https://www.nortekhvac.com/

That means Nortek owns the brand name and nothing is currently manufactured with the Nordyne name.

I have looked through the Nortek Global HVAC web pages and have not found any source for a wiring diagram for your model Nordyne furnace.

I suggest you telephone the company (headquaters in O'Fallon, Missouri - Central Time zone) and ask if the company can provide you with a wiring diagram or direct you to a reliable source for it. This is the toll free phone number I found on the Nortek website:

Heater isnt wired up but flame part works

It sounds as though you are going to have to trace through your unit's components and wire it without a wiring diagram specific for your fireplace.
Here is a Installation & Troubleshooting Guide for another electric fireplace that includes a wiring diagram. Perhaps this will help? Check it out and request additional help if you have any questions.

Without being there onsite with toolbox in hand, I hope this information is very helpful to you moving forward. :-)
