Also, type the manufacturer & model information into your computer search engine, and see who sells part for you in Canada.
Know that some blenders cannot be repaired, unless they are quite old, and then sometimes the parts are no longer available.

Lots of questions, not a lot of information. Is the rubber sealing washer in the wrong place. I have no idea what model/brand you have but on most blenders the rubber seal will go between the beaker and blade assembly, not the blade assembly and the collar.

There is a collar on the base of the jar that screws onto the jar. You will need to unscrew the collar and fit a replacement blade. make sure the seal is replaced with the blade and the collar is screwed back securely.
