there in the URL box you are required to enter the URL of the video which u want to download...
open youtube and find your video...then
first copy the URL of the video which u want to download from the bar at the top and
just paste this URL in the URL field of the youtube downloader....

If you mean a (?) in a diamond on the Safari icon in Dock/task bar, then you have a "missing" or broken application. I would recommend reinstalling Safari. That will probably mean using your Time Machine backup, assuming you have one. Without that reinstall the latest copy you have of Safari even if it is on the OS install disk, then run update from the Apple menu until there are no more updates. My copy is at 4.0.5, today.
