My door ajar warnig keeps ringing and going off as I am driving. No doors are open. It happens when I put my elbow on my drivers side door and then it keeps going off. The door is securely closed, but the alarm keeps sounding and the light too!
Something is improperly aligned in your door hinges, or something is wrong with the door switch. with the door open, see how hard it is to push the button that the door pushes when it closes. the fact that you have to put some pressure on the door to cause the fault to occur makes me think it might be in the door hinge. your car is new enough that it might still be under warranty. if you can i would take it back to the dealership. this is something you should deal with because it's a safety issue. if your door doesn't latch properly it could fly open in a collision. hope this helps.
You need to adjust or replace the switch in your door jam. It is set too far in, and any pressure is making it connect.
