Depends on many different factors. If the phone itself has an answering system, then check on the user guide (search on line for the make and model number user guide). If your phone service provides a network based answering service, check with them about how to manage the number of rings before it answers.
Take the
backup for your phone and then just simply reset it to the default factory
settings. you can do this by going through the settings of your mobile phone
handset. Your problem might be solved for free..!!!

figure out how many times it takes for your phones answering machine to automatically turn on, then call your phone company and have them limit the number of times your phone rings. like say at 14 rings if it auto answers at 15 rings.
