Washing Machine fills and then just stops. Won't agitate, drain, or spin.

There is a magnet that makes the washer work. The magnet is located on the lid. Defeating this safety feature will cause the washing mashing to not work properly. In order for the washing machine to function properly, a relatively strong magnet must be affixed to the lid so that it pulls the contacts together and allows the washer to run normally.

The error code is displayed when its beeping.

Out of balance switch,Lid magnetic reed switch,Or Rotor position sensor,Your error code would help me work out witch one of these are faulty. to work out your error code look at picture below.

Code op flashes with a beeping sound

I feel you have lost signaling thru the Left Hand Lid Lock.

See this post to get you started; Left Hand Lid Lock Troubleshooting

You could also have a Lid Magnet out of posistion. Try placing a couple of ring magnets over the left hand bumper with the lid open and see if the OP error code clears.

See photo;

Whirlpool stack washer will fill but will not progress to rest of cycle

It sounds like the lid switch is not making contact. It is a magnet located on the lid so that when you close the lid, the magnet pulls the switch closed. Make sure the magnet is still on the lid. If you washer lid will not stay open on most models, the magnet is gone because this is the same magnet that pulls the lid switch closed. If you can find where it goes, find a strong magnet and place it on the top inside rim where the lid goes when closed. Turn the machine on, let fill with water. Once this is complete and the machine should start. Take the magnet and move it around the rim until the unit starts running. If you can't get it to run, most likely the switch it's self is bad. I think you will find the magnet on the lid is gone and the machine will start running once you pass a magnet over the place where it goes. If so you will need to replace the part.

"OP" ERROR CODE

Take a look at this post, it’s for troubleshooting an OD alarm but you can follow the same troubleshooting path to see if you have a lid magnet out of position or a broken lead on the magnetic reed relay located in the left lid lock. The lid magnet operates the magnetic reed relay to signal the lid is closed/the lid is open. Try an external magnet on the left bumper and see if that clears the OP error code with the lid open. If it doesn’t I would try reseating the left lid lock plug (possible corrosion issues). If that doesn’t clear the OP alarm it would be time to pull the life lid lock out of the machine and inspect for a broken lead on the magnetic reed relay or other corrosion issues with the left lid lock. The left lid lock is in a location near the bleach dispenser. Links to the SM are in that post and a link for parts look up. Post back if you have questions

I'm using LG Fuzzy logic 6.5kg WF-S6607TC. After the water reach the level, machine start to spin for a few seconds and then stop.I can hear the peeping alarm and both wash & spin indicators are...

Check the lid cover. At the edge, there is a plastic housing some sort of a magnet. This is the magnetic sensor for lid cover open protection.
If the magnet is not there, place a magnet at the position on the washer where the housing will come in contact with the washer when lid is close.

MY WASHING MACHINE NOT WORKING

It appears your magnetic lid switch has failed in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

LG Fuzzy Logic

Place a piece of magnetic material at the edge of the lid, for the wf-s6697tc model.
Standing in front of the washer, it is slightly off centre to the right (at the edge where the lid covers, space between the wording speedy soak & fuzzy). If you pay attention to the lid, you might notice some brownish rust stain.
This is where they place the magnet.
