I just bought my tablet a day ago and had read the manual for it. So I plugged it in and had charged it for only a couple of hours. Later, I went to the Play Store and downloaded a several games to play. It ran smoothly but then the lag started to kick in. I was confused so I tried playing another game and the same thing happened again. What can I do to stop or reduce the lagging on my tablet?
Try these suggestions and video. Hope it will help you.

Snap~ HDTV don't have 480p. But HDTVs are now for lag if they aren't set up properly.

You can try reseting the unit.
Reset the set to the default factory settings:
All the information stored
(programmes, time and date) will be lost.
1. Disconnect the set from power supply.
2. Press and hold down "STANDBY•ON" on the set and reconnect the set.
3. As soon as "IS TV ON?" is displayed, release "STANDBY•ON."
Hopefully reseting it will clear whatever problem it is having and allow you to once again use your DVD player.
Hope this helps. Good Luck.
