Error 255 after trying to set up my Polar F6

It's been 5 years I received a Polar F6 as a gift . As I had one, I didn't take it off original box. Now, when I've tried to set it up, an 255 error appeared and let the screen frozen. What can I do? Thank you for your help

You probably need to "short out" the battery before you can set it.
To do this you need to remove the caseback and apply a tweezers to the battery and the "AC".
The AC is usually labeled and it looks like a little gold cricle near the battery in the watch. (I realize there may be more than one gold colored small circle in there, and if it's not labeled it will take trial and error.)
With the tweezers, or paperclip would work, touch the AC and the battery at the same time and hold for a few seconds, then release and repeat once more. This should get your watch reset and ready for you to set.

AXN 300 Watch

Here is the link to the user manual for your watch; http://www.polarusa.com/manuals/AXN300.pdf Check page 9 - you have to re-enter these basic settings after removing the battery, this may clear the error message although i was unable to confirm this from the manual. contact polar on; http://www.polarusa.com/default.asp and you can find a service centre who can check your watch, all the necessary link software downloads etc. Hope this helps :)
