Rca rt 2770 programming. My fm radio stations

You can manually program a station by pressing AM/FM to get to the correct radio band. Then tune in a station with the Tuner +/- (the left/right arrow) buttons on the remote. Next press Memory (just below 7) and then a number on the keypad. The number must be entered before the Program Preset number stops blinking. (For FM you can use some 2 digit numbers.) To scan through the stations in memory use the Channel +/- buttons on the remote or the Next/Previous track buttons on the RT2770. You could fill all of the memory slots automatically by pressing and holding the AM/FM button for two seconds. The unit will store the stations that it tunes in in order until the memory slots are full. Note: you do need to have the FM antenna and AM loop antenna connected (and extended for the FM antenna).

Retrevo has the manual for the RCA RT2770 available here: http://www.retrevo.com/support/RCA-RT2770-Home-Theater-Systems-manual/id/2869dj191/t/2/ . You will need to enter a code to download the PDF.

I hope this helps.

I just bought the RCA CD/DVD home theater system RTD206. I cant figure out how to change the radio channels. Also cant figure out how to change the cd disk tracks. Does this system have a remote. Or do...

The system does have a remote (at least it should come with one if purchased new), and you need it to control pretty much everything. Here's what the manual says about the radio tuner (you can find the whole manual here) :

Manual Tuning
1. Connect the FM aerial and the AM loop antenna at the back of the unit. Rotate the AM loop for
better reception.
2. Press TUNER to enter TUNER mode and toggle between FM and AM.
3. When the FM station broadcasts Stereo sound, ST is displayed.
4. Tune a station by pressing repeatedly the TUNER+/- buttons until the desired station is found.
Alternatively, you can press and hold the same buttons down for about one second to activate
the automatic search function. In this mode the player will automatically tune frequencies until
it finds a station.
5. Repeat step 4 to tune to another radio station.

Storing radio stations
The player can store up to 30 radio stations in its memory. You can enter every single radio station
yourself or the player can store all available radio stations automatically in ascending order.
Automatic preset programming
1. Press TUNER to enter the Tuner mode.
2. Press and hold TUNER down for 3 seconds to start automatic preset programming.
Note: A weak signal can affect the "Automatic preset programming" function's efficiency. Adjust the aerial for better
reception and a more efficient search.
3. Radio frequencies will be browsed and radio stations stored automaitcally. When all the available
radio stations are stored or all 30 memory locations are full, the auto preset programming
function will stop.

Manual preset
1. Tune to a radio station (see "Manual tuning" for details).
2. Press MEMORY once to enter flashing Preset Loaction number.
3. While the Preset Location number is still flashing, input your desired preset number (1-30) using
the numeric buttons or press the CH+/- buttons, then press MEMORY to store it.

Retrieving preset stations
1. Press TUNER to enter the Tuner mode.
2. Press CH+/- to search up or down for the preset stations or directly press the numeric buttons.

As you see, you really need that remote. The same is true for disc play. While there are front panel buttons for play/stop, disc skip, and drawer open/close, you don't have any other control without the remote. Without the remote control you'll find this system won't do too much, unfortunately. If you bought this new, check the packing material before you throw it away to make sure the remote's not still somewhere in the box. They often come tucked into slots on the foam inserts.

Also, when you hook the unit to a TV, it's just using the TV as a video display device. The TV has nothing to do with any of the system's other functions.

I hope you have luck locating the remote! Thanks for using Fixya.

I'm trying to change my radio station. The instructions say to push the snooze up or down arrows. But all that does is change it to one preset station to another. I don't want the preset stations.

For me with the M302 moondance system, the remote Tune + and Tune - buttons change the FM station (when the unit is set to FM as the source). Press and hold for 3 second to scan to the next clear station. The Track Forward and Track Backward switch between the presets.

If you are using the buttons on the unit, you can only search through the preset stations with the Snooze Up and Snooze Down. If you do not have the remote, you need to replace it. I believe this is the correct one: http://www.alteclansing.com/ae/restofworld/accessories-parts/wireless-remote-m302-a13547/invt/a13547/ .

I hope this helps.

Radio for Sandisk model SDMX1

Press the AB button to toggle between Audio Play, Radio, and Voice Record. Use the left/right scroll to highlight Radio. Then press the center button or play/pause button once to select radio.

You will see FM Radio in the upper left corner of the display. Under that you will see either Preset followed by a number OR Channel. If it is on Preset, you can use the left/right scroll to switch between preset stations. If you press and hold the AB button, the player will scan through all frequencies to find the strongest stations in your area and set those as the default preset stations. When on a particular station, press and hold the record button to delete that station from your presets.

Press the center button once to switch to Channel (or back to Preset). Under Channel, you can manually scroll through the frequencies yourself. Push left or right and hold for about a second to find the next available station.

Press the play/pause button once to toggle between Mono and Stereo.

Those are all the functions I've found so far. Hope it helps.

Good luck,
vw
