Found this link that may help you out. Seems like they are made to be used then tossed out. What a waste. Anyway the battery replacement issue is a common problem... http://k0lee.com/2008/04/replacing-remington-and-norelco-shaver-batteries/

When does the batteries need replacement?

the shaver will slow down as the batteries discharge. To suddenly stop suggests either loose batteries or faulty switch. There should be a charging cradle for the shaver to keep it working but if you need batteries then open the battery cover and replace with the same batteries.

To open the shaver you will need to gently pry off the rubberized grip on the front of the shaver. You can then access and remove two screws near the bottom. You will also need to loosen the flat metal clip plate at the top that is under the cutters. Once this is done, you can open the shaver and access the batteries

How to open Philips shaver 7110X to replace batery

Remove 2 screws on the back to remove outer cover. Once removed, you will see 3 more screws that must be removed on the inner cover. Remove screws and cover to get to the battery.

When installing the battery, I suggest that you use a modified installation technique. This is to break the tabs off of the old batteries rather that removing them from the circuit board. This allows the old batteries to be removed but leaves the tabs attached to the circuit board. You can them solder the tabs from the new batteries to the old existing tabs
