Low speed carb idle screw needs to be adjusted.
When you play with the low speed ilde screw, you have to make adjustments to the high speed screw as well.
Turn the low speed to closed, keeping care of how many complete turns it took. Should be something like one and a half to two and a half.
Then start it, hold the throttle open well enough to keep it running. Then begin to move the high speed open, giving it max throttle. If it starts to sputter, turn it the other way. Turn it til you have the highest throttle speed with no misfires, etc, should be smooth.
Then begin to let off the gas, with the choke open, it will continue to die on you until you get the low speed in the right range. Go until the idle is too high or begins to miss, with NO choke. You'll have to go back and forth, and you'll see the dirrerence, until finally you'll have iy idling right where you want it.
