I see that your Electrolux washer is displaying the error code "ERR". Typically a number follows the "ERR" but if no number followed the "ERR" error code then your washer has detected an error. I would perform a reset on your washer which can be done by unplugging the power cord or flipping the household circuit breaker for roughly ten minutes.
If that does not help correct the issue it could be a problem with your control panel or wiring harness. I would recommend seeking out assistance from a professional in order to properly diagnosis and repair your washer. I hope this is helpful to some degree. -Matt
Be aware that the
resistance is often the part that requires repair. Resistance is managed
magnetically, so often if the machine is working, but the resistance isn't
setting correctly or at all, check the bolts that secure the magnets. If they
are loose, the resistance will slip. If the bolts are fine, check the magnets
themselves by using a refrigerator magnet and see if it is attracted or
repelled by the your fridge magnet. If not, the magnets have de-magnetized and
need to be replaced.
Is this a Haier Washing Machine? 'coz I found an answer on their site..
"Q. The display shows Err 1. A. The door is open or not properly locked shut. Open and close the door, or firmly push the door shut until you hear a 'click'. If the problem continues, call the customer help desk or an approved service engineer."
It most likely is your foot pedal. Unplug your
foot pedal and start the machine without it. If it works properly
without the foot pedal plugged in then your foot pedal needs repaired or
replaced. This worked for us with the NX400 machine and I am sure the
NX450 is closely similar. Don't bother to buy a Manual if you didn't
already get one with the machine. A Service manual and parts manual is
best; But just so you know they don't show the error codes unless you
are a qualified and authorized repair person for the machines. I got my
info from the repair man where my wife buys and repairs her machines. I
am an electronic technician and mechanic so I understand how this system
works. I will be repairing my wife's machines from now on.
