Hi U can get some information on the electric circuit.:::: type in on computer electric schematic pride celebrity it should take U to a page with some information. Good luck
hi yes code 8 is a controller error try ringing a pride spare parts to c if they have reco ones .....very expensive new ones try monster scooter parts ...good luck
The brake is controlled by the position of the fwd/reverse throttle paddles.
There is a pot inside that the paddles attach to..if the pot is not
centred the brake doesn't work properly when the paddles are
released. I had the same problem on my Pride Legend XL..
had to order the throttle pot from MonsterScooter, com.
Installed it myself and that cleared my electric brake problem.
check the freewheel lever on th rear of the chair near the right rear wheel if you can push the scooter easily then you are in freewheel locate the lever and move it to the drive mode and try to drive the scooter again if it still won't move then you have other problems that can only be checked by a service tech Hope this helps
It is often a damaged accelerator (Potentiometer). Sometimes the shaft on the wigwag breaks the contacts in the accelerator from being moved too vigorously when going over a bump too fast. A technician would need to repair this for you. Happy scooting. Regards Chris… [email protected]
Please make sure your charger is okay, can you try another charger ?
the other thing is , the FREEWHEEL lever can it move itself say when you go down a kerb , what are they replacing ? do you have the part ? send me a photograph if you do ?
