For handheld devices, do a full wipe of the device and return it to factory specifications. For add-on devices to a computer or computer system, uninstall the device and reinstall the drivers. If reloading, registering or calibrating the device does not work, consult the manufacturer for possible warranty replacement options.

What would need to be done here is some voltage tests on power board when set is working and then again when it is not, also a valuable source for some parts:

My watch has been losing time all day long. It runs at least two to five minutes slow in the course. I bought it in 2006.

Overhaul is needed for your watch. It has mechanism, and it needs to be serviced every 4-5 years. Just imagine what would your car do without service! So, go and see the watchmaker.

SG4 will not sync. display has UPDATE PROGRAM

Ran into this problem last night. Was trying to update software on Skycaddie. According to computer, everything finished. However, my skycaddie was displaying UPDATE PROGRAM VER 00.13 (B) Ready to Begin. Tried to reload last application as stated in earlier post. PC could not fine skycaddie.

Gave up and called customer service this morning. Only took a few minutes to get a live rep on the phone. He e-mailed me a link to execute that allowed him access to my computer. He tried to reload the last application as well, same result. He then ran an update program via a website, program found my skycaddie and was successfully updated. Whole process took less than five minutes.

I was fearing having to send my unit in for repair.

Frame only flickers

Try pulling the battery for five minutes. if it is plugged in a wall socket, pull the plug for five minutes. once the five minutes are up, power the unit up again and, test the display. if it continues to flicker, you will need to delete all loaded pictures and, reload them at this point. this could be a overloaded memory module.

If the reload doesn't work, this will confirm a display board chip issue. you will then need ot send this device in for the repair.
