Thanks for your help and suggestions. I did check the cord wires and their are fine suggesting the problem is elsewhere. Could you please explain and/or identify the board supply? Is this the entire board where all the connections and wires are plugged to?

    Thanks

HI, you will need to check the terminal block. this is where the power cord runs to on the back side of the unit. make sure it is not lose or worn. you may have to disassemble the unit to expose the terminal block in this case. the power cord wires will spit into three or four little wires and, they will either be soldered or screwed on the block. make sure these wires are secure and not ripped or worn.

Now, if the terminal block is in good condition, this will confirm power board failuer and, in this case, you will need to replace the board supply board .

I bought a model 365 remington dehumidifier. I plugged it in and nothing lights up. I have it plugged in for the past 8 to 10m hous and still nothing. Should i be seeing the blue light up ?

Two things that you need to check: Make sure that the outlet the dehumidifier is plugged int, is in fact working. The circuit breaker for that outlet may be tripped or there may be a loose or damaged wire connection to the one of the outlet's terminals. I assume you are turning the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON of the dehumidifier, after you plugged the unit in and set the humidity extraction level below 40%?

FULL LIGHT FLASHES

An automatic overflow switch and Container “Full” indicator light are provided to turn the
dehumidifier off before the container overflows. When the indicator light on the control panel
glows, the water container must be emptied. If the light remains on and the dehumidifier does
not begin to operate make sure the float is attached to the water container.

When the condensate water container is full, the indicator lights up.
1. Turn the power off before removing container. Wait 3 minutes for
any remaining water to drain into the condensate container.
2. Tilt the container forward then lift carefully by the handle.
3. Empty and gently re-insert the container.
Important:This water is not suitable for drinking.

Please rate and god bless:)
