The on/off button stopped working on the hoover the other day, I had to keep switching it off at the mains to turn it off. Then yesterday it threw the trip switch in the house.
I
what has happened to it - I'm guessing that the motor has gone in it and will need replaced - if so, any idea of a price and the cheapest place to get one?
Thanks
Why Henry Hoover trip switch in house
Sounds more likely to be the switch than the motor, especially if it is the model with the top switch rather than the side "rocker" switch. If you are in the UK, speak to the technical people at www.a1cleaningsupplies.co.uk they can post a replacement. Otherwise outside or even within the UK you can contact the manufacturers technical people. Website is www.numatic.com

Mine was doing the same, plus not sucking properly, I opened the back cover with seven screws, and there was little rubbish inside, cleaned it and now all is good.
