hi tech,
firstly: use the seus i.e the sony ericsson update service. its an online free update service by sony. its installation package comes with the phone, ona cd. connect your phone to the pc with the cable and run the soft after installing it. follow the instructions.
secondly: if u want to do it urself, then u ned some third party software like XS++, and some more files known as cust packs, main and fs. the mbn file is not the "firmware" but the "main " of the phone. so its not recommended to "flash" the software at home if u dont have the advanced knowledge about "flashing"... u may brick your phone. (make it permanentally damaged).

you can not flash gdfs from one phone to another doing this will brick phone as all gdfs are different even on same model phone
