I believe you will need something like that ..It is used normally for fixing holes in sports balls ..and if it works for balls under pressure ..it will work on the pump as well...I think it is a synthetic rubber solution ..that adheres on the original one ...(I think it has to be inserted in the interior ..side..with a syringe ...) My advice is to detach the pump before insert the solution ..(read the user guide) ..and this way you should be able to blow air inside from the end you detached ..and seal it proper in the hole..

Carol, Sunbeam is not the manufacturer of your BP Monitor. Another manufacturer produced it for Sunbeam. Look closely at all the labels on the monitor itself. Somewhere in small print, it should say who really manufactured it. Also, it's probably on the User Guide somewhere. Armed with that information, you can probably order one from the manufacturer.

Sounds like you need a new tube or fastener.
Is the tube connector on back of machine long enough still ? (ie not broken off).

What brand of BP Monitor?

Is this a personal BP monitor?
Or is it a hospital BP monitor?

Well.. you have to check the cuff to see if it's OK. Most of the errors are because of the cuff which has a balloon inside the cuff.

It depends on your model.

On some models you can take off the cuff line. Check if there is air coming out from the BP machine. If there ir air, it must be probably the cuff.

If both the cuff and machine is OK, then the problem must be the machine calibration.

Is it electronic or manual BP?

The switch tells the machine how high to pressurize the cuff when it starts. It needs to somewhat higher than your normal systolic pressure (mm Hg). (So if your systolic (top number) bp is regularly between 100 and 130, set the switch to 160.) Similarly if your systolic pressure is regularly above 130 but below 170, set it to 200)

You have the same problem I do. The hose socket to the machine is broken.

It sounds broken, calibration won't help it.
just go buy a new one at walmart. They are in the area of the pharmacy. I think they run about $20.

Try 5 to 10 minutes between readings, all at the same conditions: seated on chair, lean back, feet on ground.....
