Janome will not recognize that that the correct "P" foot is on the machine so when the start button is pushed it gives the warning to put the correct foot on and will not embroidery.

This just happens when I am trying to embroidery. Other modes seem to work fine. Everything else seems to be okay. I just had the machine serviced at the place where it was purchased and this problem did not happen until after it was serviced. This was actually the first time that I used the machine since it was serviced. I tried to reset the embroidery mode to default but I can not fine the default in the embroidery mode. This just seems to affect the P foot for embroidery not the other regular sewing feet. ???

It sounds like you may have the wrong even feed food. It should be a simple task to put on. the packaging on the foot should say its for Janome horizontal bobbin machines.

If the presser foot has an clear glass eye (sensor), check that it is not dirty, dusty, or marred (perhaps a fingerprint). Anything that interferes with the machine's ability to recognize an accessory will prevent its use.

try taking the foot off and putting it back on and see if that helps, if it doesn't help then there could be something wrong with the computer or sensor

Pressure foot won't stay up

The presser foot lift lever on many newer janome sewing machines will wear out with use. It can easily be replaced by a sewing machine repair shop or Janome dealer. Or you can look online for a "presser foot lifter" or "presser foot lift lever" making sure to find the correct one for your machine.

I am having trouble buttonholling on my Janome, it is new. It starts sewing and then stops and blinks 6L. What have I done wrong

Check your manual and follow the instructions. The error message may be listed in the trouble shooting at the back of the manual.

Probably will need to put on the buttonholing foot, pull down a lever which guides the machine to sew the length correctly and choose a buttonholing setting on the stitch selection.

Also, for good buttonholes, always interface the fabric to give it stability.

I have a Janome 11000-it won't embroidery

You have to be sure you have the correct foot on the machine and that it is put on correctly. You can't use a regular foot - you need to use the embroidery foot P, which require you to remove the foot holder altogether, and put on the P.
