Mitsubishi television How do i change the red bulb in the mitsubishi tv mod # WS-55511? and where do i get a replacement part?

thanks for replying. Whenever i turn on the television, it stays on for a minute, the screen flickers, then shuts off. I opened the back, turn it on then noticed that the red bulb didnt come on at all

After unplugging HV lead, tv set cannot be turned on. It makes the clicking sound but doesnt stay on.

Define "stays on for a minute" .

Also,when you say red bulb didn't come on,does that mean the blue and green one did?? If so , dis-able the red tube by unplugging HV lead to red CRT.And pull red CRT socket

module.Then turn set on and see if it runs without red color.

Let me know by how you rate my solution..........T.

And dis-connect HV lead......

yes thats a good price to replace a bad red picture tube and at the same time the convergence ic , this is for the doble picture and lines

COLOR GOES IN AND OUT

color going in and out, see if you have red/white/ yellow cables on the back of this tv. unplug and reconnect the yellow one. hopefully its just the cable wire or it may be bulb in the tv that is going out

Good Day;

Sounds like you have bad Convergence Output IC > 267P155010 > STK393-110, replace and it will correct the problem TV uses only ONE, make sure all resistors look good in the circuit around IC.
