No modulation in AAM only mode. Needing a schematic.

I have a Cobra 148 GTL New Model BLACK FRONT PANEL, with main board PCB marked "SSB 145106". Have not any schematic for solve a no modulatiun on AM mode. Circuit similar but no equal to 3900. Will thanks any help ! [email protected] (CX9BT)

If the transmitter produces power output with modulation on SSB but NOT ON AM then the AM Pass Regulator is defective, more times than not.

Cobra 148 GTL ST. No AM transmit audio. Carrier is pinning meter. Works fine on SSB.
Could be TR41 or TR42. I would try TR41 first.

Cobra 148 gtl stays keyed up on tx on both am and ssb
Your problem is a faulty changeover relay on the circuit board. It is a small black device , and may have the brand name MRATA
etched on it (the switchover contact points are stuck together)

No AM carrier or modulation. SSB transmits good
what cb is it ? it sounds like your am section is not getting powered up when you switch from ssb to am. If i know the model i may have a diagram of it here and suggest a place to start
