Try booting into the BIOS (F8) and see if the mouse or HID is disabled. (mine was.)
I could not get my Microsoft wireless USB optical mouse to work after trying all the tricks in MS KB articles until I found this and enabled it, restarted and voila.

It works now!

I have Logitech software for my old laptop - Dell XP. My new laptop has Vista 64 Bit. How can I adjust my Logitech V450 Laser Corless Mouse? julie

Go to http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/428/4335&cl=us,en?softwareid=671&osid=13. Select the vista 64 bit version of setPoint. Download and install. Also, altering the mouse properties in the Vista control panel can let you adjust the mouse.

My Logitech V220 mouse worked for 3 months. Now it doesnt?

I would go in and uninstall the mouse completely and then reinstall it fresh using the Logitech software.

You can get both SetPoint 4.80 and Logitech Connection Utility here...

Logitech has excellent mice. Thats a nice one to. Go to logitech.com support choose the m305 model. You'll get that right away as its one of there newer models. After support download the setpoint software for windows 7. If that all works fine which it should look around the web for whats called uber software for logitech mice. Has added features and better funtionality. Its the talk of the mice world.

Can't install CD for wireless keyboard. Need

Hello!

Usually when I install drivers for hardware I never use the CD that ships with the product. By the time the product has shipped, CD's that contain software for the product are usually outdated since hardware manufacturers are constantly updating software around the time of release and for awhile afterwords. Because of this, I like to go straight to the manufacturer website and download the absolute latest software/drivers for the hardware in question.

Here's a link below to both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the Windows Vista software for SetPoint. Depending on what version of Windows Vista you're running [32 or 64], choose the appropriate one and try installing that. If that doesn't work, visit Logitech's Support Website, choose your product, and download the appropriate drivers.

Clicking open windows

This mouse does not require a driver. It works with the innate Vista driver. This product originally shipped with either iTouch or MouseWare, which are not compatible with Vista. I strongly recommend to uninstall iTouch and/or MouseWare prior to migrating to Windows Vista. After iTouch and MouseWare are uninstalled, the basic functionality of your devices will be provided by the Windows native driver.
