Been a long time since I have seen this phone but I seem to remember a setting like this. Some phones had a long and short setting too.

Activate DTMF tones:
Menu > Settings > Initial Setup > DTMF
When you dial a number, your phone sends
it to your network as Dual Tone Multi
Frequency (DTMF) tones.
To send DTMF tones during a call, just
press number keys or scroll to a number in
the phonebook or recent calls lists and
press Options > Send Tones

Observe the menu map. From your main menu, you have to open more (It has box open icon). Under More, you have to open Settings(Two mechanical bolts icon).
Under settings, you have to go to Other Settings which is the 5th option.

Under Other settings, you have the following options:
Personalize Initial Setup Network Car Settings Headset
You have to select the 2nd setting, that is Initial Setup.
Under Initial Setup, you have the following options:
Time and Date 1-Touch Dial Backlight Zoom TTY Setup Scroll Animation Language Battery Save Contrast DTMF Master Reset Master Clear
You have to select the 8the option, which is language(langua/idioma/langue).
Now from the options select English to set english as the changed language.
reset cache means that it empties all temporary files in your phone like pages you have visited on the internet and passwords that cache when you check mail and such. If you reset the cache which won't hurt the phone, you will have to re-enter names of pages you frequent and such.
motorola doesn't give the software for free online - so that can't be done - you should be able to buy the cd for $5.00 at any cellphone shop in your area
