SOURCE: my kx-t7731 does not have an enter button.I can

Did you program the 2 buttons for CID-S and CID-I?

I can tell you how to do it, but it won't mean too much if you don't have the other programming done.

Try storing 96 and 97 under a couple of buttons.

I cannot find out how to take the caller id off of my Sony tv with this remote. Is there anyone that can help?

I wouldn't have thought a television accepted phone calls. A model number would have solved for sure. 'make model manual'.

Two conflicting answers. First one 'yes and how to', and the second 'Sony Bravia doesn't have Caller ID'.

the MENU button on your remote, selecting the Settings tile, scrolling down, and then selecting Caller ID Settings.Mar 1, 2015

Check caller id

Caller ID on the telephone is only supported if the KSU is progammed to pass through this information. If you want to view it on the phone level there is a button that can be programmed on your phone to display like caller ID history.

NO CALLER id.

Caller ID has to be programmed in the brains of the system not at the telephone level. Go to http://www.telecom.toshiba.com/ to find a certified dealer to turn this on. Then have a button put on your telephone so that you can view caller ID history of calls that have come into your desk if you desire

UNIDEN TRU8888-CALLER ID DOES NOT WORK

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. I think you have stored more than 100 Caller ID messages and hence the caller ID is not showing on Uniden Tru8888. In the following cases the caller ID will not be shown-

If you answer a call before the Caller ID message is received (for example, before the second ring), the Caller ID message will not appear.

When the call is received via a telephone company that does not offer Caller ID service, the caller’s phone number and name does not appear. (This includes some international calls.)

When the call is via a private branch exchange (PBX), the caller's phone number and name may not appear.

You may receive any one of the following messages:

When a private name is received; Private Name
When a private number is received; Private Number
When a unknown name is received; Unknown Name
When a unknown number is received; Unknown Number
When invalid data is received; Incomplete Data

The Caller ID list stores information for incoming calls - even unanswered calls. You can store up to 100 Caller ID messages and phonebook entries (including Speed Dials) for each handset and the base. You can view the Caller ID list through the handset or base during a call or when the phone is in standby mode.

Memory locations for Caller ID messages and Phonebook entries (including Speed Dials) are common, you can store up to all 100 entries for each handset and the base. Caller ID messages are not stored when you have 100 phonebook entries. When you have stored a total of 100 phonebook entries and Caller ID messages, the oldest Caller ID message is overwritten.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

How do I view caller ID?

The KX-T7731 is a proprietary system phone. You have a Panasonic phone system. Caller ID is transmitted between the first and second ring but the phone system itself is the only part that gets this information. The system has to be compatible for caller ID and it has to collect the caller ID data and send this information to your phone(s). Your phone can be used on many different Panasonic phone systems. The phone's part number does not help you. First thing you need to do is find out what system you have and if it has caller ID. The phone system part number should start with KXT like your phone.
