My bunn cwtf15 won't put out hot water from tap, and won't brew hot enough water even after adjusting thermostat?

Is there a video for how to operate this machine?

Your thermal fuse has blown. it's in what is now brown tubing and is located in the top right rear of the machine. remove the top lid, remove the trough drain nut and trough to get to it. you can either bypass it with a jumper, or call (800) 352-BUNN (2866)

SOURCE: Bunn model CWTF15 brews coffee but coffee not hot

Check the setting on the thermostat behind the front panel, it might not be set correctly, turn it all the way high the back 1/4 turn.

SOURCE: Bunn cwtf15 coffee isn't hot enough

Adjust the thermostat, located behind the front panel, there will be a knob, turn all the way on then back about 1/4 turn.

My Bunn CWTF15 coffee maker will not brew a pot when the brew button is pushed. The unit will dispense hot water from the spigot Is the a potential blockage or is it more complex

You should call your vendor for service on any commercial brewer. (Especially if it's on loan from them)
*** the following is for information only as all repairs should be performed by a qualified tech.***

The CWTF has a start switch activates the timer (analog or digital) board which turns on the water feed to the brew tank. This forces previously heated water out and sprayed over the ground coffee in the brew funnel. Coffee then drips into the decanter.
* It's not often this momentary brew switch goes bad even though it's pressed many times a day.
* Check the on/off switch. Most models will light up when switched on.
* Check the timer. Digital timers tend to be sensitive to electrical storms. Analog timers have a dial and are more tolerant of electrical surges.
* Check the water fill solenoid. Should be a definite click when activated. Water filling sound should be very clear.
* No water flow then check the water supply line if it's on.
* Final; this brewer needs service. Call your coffee vendor for advice.

Water not coming out hot

If you have a hot water tap on the brewer, then most likely the thermal fuse is blown. You can get one from www.bunn.com. It's above and almost behind the tank, and most likely brown by now

No hot water pouring water into top not plumbed is that an issue? bunnctfw15-ts

If it is not connected to water then it has to be used as a pourover brewer by pouring water into the top for brewing, there will be no water from the faucet.

My bunn cwtf 15 wont put out hot water and the ready light wont turn off dustain

If your ready light is on and your water is not warm... sounds like the thermostat is too low. Inside the front panel (behind the brew basket) there is a thermostat adjustment on the left-hand side. If you turn that up your ready light should shut off. You can then adjust the temp to your desired level. (194-200 degrees depending on roast, grind, etc...)

When i make coffee sometimes the water that comes out is cold or luke warm

The brewer has not had enough time to reach its operating temp (usually 7 mins after a brew cycle). If that is not hte case then the machine needs to be descaled.

Does no heat water hot enough

Thermostat adjustment is behind front panel (behind brew basket) on the left-hand side (usually) Work it up gradually otherwise you may risk boil over.

Are you leaving the machine plugged in all of the time? If not, you need to. The machine takes approximately 10 minutes to get to full temperature the first time then the water should stay hot from then on. Or it could be that you just need to turn up the thermostat. No, the water won't get hotter sitting on the burner and the coffee won't taste as good if the water you are brewing with isn't hot enough.

To get to the thermostat, unplug the machine and take the two screws on the top lid off. You should see a box that has a knob or a T sticking out of it. Turn it up a little bit, put the lid back on and let the heat up for a little while (10 - 15 minutes). Try brewing with just plain water. If it still isn't hot enough, repeat the steps above. Make sure you don't turn up the thermostat so much that the water boils.
