Use a firewire cable to connect your camera to your Mac. Have your camera at the place you want to start copying and put it in play back mode. Open iMovie in your Mac. In the iMovie window, move the little blue button to the left (to the camera icon). Then click the Import button at the bottom of your picture. If you haven't used iMovie before play around with it.
