Blackberry 8330 Freeze and not turn back on

newer blackberries turn speaker phone on by when your in a call pressing the blackberry button next to the control pad to bring up options and then scrolling to find speaker phone on this may work

You only need blackberry curve 8330 unlock code to unlock your phone network. That unlock code will reset your phone network configuration to default factory setting so you can use any sim card from other network provider. Blackberry unlock code can be purchased at third party sites.

1. the Backup and Restore window, click Advanced.
2. In the Device Databases list, select the Messages database, then click Clear.
3. A warning message appears. Click OK to continue. The database is deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone.
4. Click Refresh to update the messages database on the BlackBerry smartphone.
5. From the File menu, click Open.
6. Go to the location where the BlackBerry smartphone backup file is saved, select the backup file, and click Open.
7. In the Computer databases list, select Messages. Click the arrow pointing to the Device Databases list.
8. A warning message appears. Click OK to continue. The messages database is restored to the BlackBerry smartphone.
9. Click Back.
10. Click main menu to return to the main menu of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

The only way to receive Blackberry Messenger services is to pay a carrier for a subscription to the service.

i have a blackberry curve. my friend tried to tye my password in and got it wrong 10 times. my screen sais 'jvm error 513' and it wont do anything when i click reset. i need help D:

Pull the battery out and put back in. Then hit the reset button on back panel.

you need to reflash you OS on to the phone...

you can connect the phone using the usb cable to the laptop/pc/mac that you are using then open your desktop manager (blackberry).....open apploader then click on software update and upload the OS back to the phone this should work..

This was a problem that perplexed me for a while too. Ultimately I learned that the curve has several different folders for different email addresses. This also includes a message folder for all messages. First go to the Home Screen and press the menu / Blackberry button. Select "Show All". Now scroll through until you see the offending folder indicating there is a message there. Delete that message and you should be back to normal. My problem had been a saved unread message in the saved messages folder that wasn't being displayed initially. That should take care of your problem!

The red button to the right of the trackball is both an on and off button as well as the one you use to hang up a call.
