Hi... try this method

1 In any Still mode, tap Settings to open the Settings
panel.
2 Tap Self-Timer/Burst repeatedly, until the desired
Self-timer icon appears at the bottom of the LCD:
10 seconds—A picture is taken after a 10-second
delay (so you have time to get into the scene).
2 seconds—A picture is taken after a 2-second
delay (for a steady, auto-shutter release on a
tripod).
2 shot—The first picture is taken after a 10-second
delay. A second picture is taken 8 seconds later.
3 Compose the scene. Press the Shutter button halfway, then completely down.
The camera takes the picture/pictures after the delay....

thank u

HOW TO FIT A CANNON TIMER TO A MODEL 10305G

All questions need full 'make model (what it is)' as first 3 words please
You posted to Cannon Cameras. There are 10,000 categories to choose from, Cannon Camera or Cannon Cooker?

https://www.google.com/search?q=Cannon+10305G+fit+timer

No one has documented that, but on my cooker there are screws on the sides of the top rail and two screws at the back. Then you can remove the front display panel and get access to the clock and timer.

I don't know how to get/find/use the timer on my camera FINEPIX SL245

Press cursor-down (marked with a one-handed clock) to bring up the self-timer menu, use cursor-left/right to select the desired delay, then press the MENU/OK button. Start the self-timer by pressing the shutter release button as usual.

Full details are in the "Using the Self-Timer" section of the manual (page 39 in my copy). If you need a manual you may download a copy here.

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO USE TIMER ON CAMERA SO I CAN INCLUED MYSELF IN PHOTO.

There is a self-timer option in most cameras. Go to menu and you should be able to find it. The user manual that came with the camera should mention it. Go into self timer and set the number of minutes to delay so that you can have enough time to include yourself in the photo. Unfortunately you have not specified the make and model of your camera.

Hope this helps !!!

In any Still mode, press down-arrow repeatedly until the self-timer icon appears for the desired setting. Your choices are 10-second delay, 2-second-delay, and 2-shot, where one picture is taken after ten seconds and a second picture eight seconds later.

How do you use a remote shutter release for a canon d 50 slr , and where do you find the timer on same camera?

You need a remote shutter release button attached either via a cable, or wirelessly. Canon make several models, as do many third parties.

As for self timer, press the AF-Drive Button then use the select wheel to move from single shot to high speed, slow speed or self-timer modes.
