You possibly have a Mhz signal conflict with another appliance in your home or in another 'apartment' if you live in a complex.  If not, there is a similar or identical signal (with the same Mhz listed on your phone in your home from another appliance trying to use the same frequency) interfering, like a router or router/modem for wireless internet.  I had a similar problem when I had a wireless home phone not connecting to the base and would not call, stay connected or code right with the base.  I used a Linksys router to connect to an AT&T modem and nothing matched. Until I got AT&T to upgrade me to their "2wire" router/modem combination built in and my wireless internet problem was solved.  But, the V-Tech phone lost it's ability to connect or operate properly after that, even with a new battery.  We scrapped the wireless base and phone and now stay wired, also an option.

My phone saying no power to base

Then the connection between the phone and base and or phone electrical contact points are either dirty (clean then) or the base is burned out. Use a volt meter and check the base if cleaning the phone and base contact points doesn't solve the issue.

Logitech cordless internet handset for skype -- base unit problem

You can uninstall the Skype Application and reinstall it in compatiblity mode and chose XP. To do this right click on the install exe and go to the compatibility tab/section and from the drop down chose XP. Then try reinstalling it.
That has solved a lot of issue for me with Vista.
Let me know if you need anymore help or if that does not solve your issue.
Thanks,

How do i reset philips voip4332b ip phone base unit to company default.

This should solve your problem:

1. On your phone select: Menu > System > Base Select

Select "Auto" and press "ok"

2. On your phone select: Menu > System > Register
(you might be prompted to enter a PIN if so the default is "0000" )

3. On the base station press and hold down the  "Page" button for 4-5 secs until the green light starts to blink. At this point the phone should be now able to find the base station.

Phone says searching

The battery may be weak. Or it is too far from the base. Try exchanging the two. take the handset near the base and see if it will link.

Handset flashes "searching" and has stopped working

Did you already try cleaning the connections on the phone and the base with alcohol on a Q-tip? Make sure the connections on the phone are touching the base propely.
