Manual network selection

The device detects and registers on wireless networks inside T-Mobile's calling area, but roaming networks are usually restricted to T-Mobile SIM cards. You can manually select a network only in areas where T-Mobile does not own GSM spectrum.
  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.

  4. Wait while the device populates a list of available networks.
  5. Tap the desired network you wish to register on.

Switch 2G / 4G

  1. From any screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
  2. Tap the down icon (v), the tap Airplane to turn on or off.

Turn on / off data roaming

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings > More > Cellular networks.
  3. Tap to turn Data Roaming on or off.

Turn on / off mobile data

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > Data usage.
  2. Tap to turn Cellular data on or off.

Why don't you ask Boost, then? Those settings are not device-dependent. As soon as you have them, input them via settings->connections. All you should need it
a) the APN of the connection (a name)
b) whether they require the use of a proxy
b1) if yes, the IP address and the port of it
c) whether they require authentication (that's usually not the case)
c1) if yes, your username and password

That should be all.

you cant get one automatically. you have to download a sms app from the market that supports autosignature [like chomp sms]

Boost Mobile SIMs and Motorola V3 Razr compatible or not??

will not work with boost mobile, (even if it is unlocked) you might be able to use it with boost mobile cdma, which uses sprint service. they no longer advertise this service, but still accept new users. give boost a call and ask them for the boost mobile cdma number
