How Do You Get Videos To Work On A HS-8204 Hip Street mp3 Player?

Ok... i got a new hip street mp3 with 4GB.
i Tried Putting Videos On It..They Go On The Mp3..but doesnt play when i use the mp3...
please help me with this?

My Hip Street MP3 Player wont charge


Make sure it is not a faulty USB Cable. You might have to replace it. There is not much you can do because it could be a lot of things. THere is no where you can send it into to get fixed. I would get a new one :(

Hi Aaron - Your player plays back .avi files (Xvid or Divx) but with a screen resolution of only 128 x 160 make sure you only load low resolution files (the standard for web use .avi files is 320 x 240) but many are higher res than that and they would have trouble playing on your player.

I would suggest you use some free software like mediacoder (Windows but there are Mac and Linux equivalents) to rencode video to your resolution and certainly no higher than 320 x 240.

if it didnt come with a cd, you can download it at the hipstreet down loads site on their web page, it'll guide you from there
