To me, TEMP TO LOW means nothing. However if it is TEMP TOO LOW that may mean that the ambient (surrounding) temperature is too low for the device to work properly.
Electronic devices have a range of temperatures in which they function properly. That may be between -4 deg C and may be 40 deg C. A bit below the freezing point of water and a bit more than the normal temperature of the human body.
Give it time to warm inside a house, then recharge it.

How do you get the lcd display to lluminate on the 1208-2

The 1208-2 is a model number used for various electronic devices, so without additional context, it is difficult to provide a specific answer. However, in general, to illuminate the LCD display on an electronic device, you may need to do one or more of the following:
  1. Check if the device has a backlight function: Some LCD displays have a backlight function that can be turned on or off. Look for a button or menu option on the device that controls the backlight.
  2. Check if the device has a power switch: Make sure that the device is turned on and has power. Some LCD displays will not illuminate if the device is not turned on or does not have power.
  3. Check if the device is in low power mode: Some devices have a low power mode that conserves battery life or reduces power consumption. This mode may dim or turn off the display. Look for a button or menu option on the device that turns off low power mode.
  4. Check the device's user manual: If you have the user manual for the device, check it for information on how to illuminate the LCD display. It may have specific instructions or troubleshooting tips for your particular device.
If these steps do not work, you may need to contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for assistance.

RCA RD2052A turning on and off, not playing, and not displaying a volume bar

If your RCA RD2052A MP3 player is turning on and off, not playing, and not displaying a volume bar, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Reset the device: Sometimes resetting the MP3 player can solve the issue. To do this, press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds until the device turns off. Then, release the button and turn on the player again.
  2. Check the battery: Make sure the battery is fully charged and not low on power. If the battery is low, it may cause the player to turn off unexpectedly.
  3. Try a different USB cable: If the device is not charging or connecting to your computer, try using a different USB cable.
  4. Update the firmware: Visit the RCA website and check for any firmware updates for your device. Updating the firmware can sometimes solve any software issues.
  5. Contact customer support: If none of these steps work, you may need to contact customer support for further assistance.

I have a jandy AE TI heater says it is in defrost mode and will not kick on

If this is a problem only when the air temp out side is cooler than normal and your water temp is low, then the unit is performing correctly. The heatpump is having trouble performing with low ambient air temp because when the temp gets to low the coil will ice up. You may also have a bad defrost sensor (coil temp sensor).

No cool air is coming out of vents. Checked Filters OK, Cruited breakers OK, vents OK not blocked. Could it be low on freon and compressor froze up and I should wait for ice to melt than possibly get...

Yes let the ice melt on the evap coil and the outside line. You either have a low charge or you might check your filter dryer on the outside lines this could be stopped up. you will will have a temp drop across the filter if it is stopped up. If not it is possible to be low on charge. Is the inside fan turning and turning the right direction. If the inside fan is not turning it will cause the evap coil to freeze up.

My TomTom 920 turns on in my car but when connected to the car charger the charging light does not come on and the device displays a bottle symbol and turns off

It sounds like the Car adapter is bad, try charging through the USB port on your computer to see if the unit charges. If it does you will need a new car charger - try ebay.

Good Luck

My TT Go 910 will not turn on. I have charged it

A simple reset was required, per user manual from TomTom online. It is a hidden button on the display module.

Battery critically low. Turns off soon after it is turned on plug when plugged. Won't come on if not plugged on.

The following Magellan 800,860,2000,2200t,2500,3000,3050,3100,3140,4000,4040,4050 and the 6000t are known to have faulty dc connectors...if your Magellan gps is not charging or will not power up, its most likely the dc power port.

you can get it repaired here
or buy the port here

Thermostat unit not cooling house.

Okay. Here's what I suspect in order of probability:

- low refrigerant charge
- contactor not getting 24 volts from controller (controller problem)
- bad contactor
- bad capcitor

I'd start with the charge, as suggested by mastatech. But if it is low, you'll need a service call, anyway, so pressing the needle valve may not be necessary.

I'm assuming you're not going to be taking the unit apart and testing stuff, so you'd need a service call for that as well.

I guess bottom line is, call for service. At least, I think we've ruled out simple stuff which will avoid paying for a service tech to come out and flip a switch.

Maybe mastatech has some other recommendations.

IPod Won't Charge

I am assuming that this is the First Gen iPod Touch. My friend had this problem and the way that I fixed it for him is to drain the battery completely, so that it won't turn on. (Even the display shouldn't turn on and say VERY LOW BATTERY with a charge icon).
Plug it into the WALL SOCKET and charge it for 24-48 hours.
If this doesn't work, then the battery is defect. If it is still in Warrenty. Visit the Genius Bar in any apple store and see what they can do

Cant get outside time to work???

I have the same problem with mine. The outside temp displays OK for a while, then it displays two dashs. I unplug the main unit from the wall until the outside temp comes back. I then plug it back in and it works OK. I found that if the remote sensor is located more than 40 ft from the main unit and there are a couple of walls between the two, the outside temp fails more often. I have noticed that putting my wireless phone in it's charging craddle can cause the radio or nature sounds to turn on. I moved the main unit further away from the phone and that cured the problem. Sometimes it will do this if the humidity is low and I build up a static charge and then touch the unit.
