NO WAY.cook it first then refreeze it.if you slice (into portions) meat up and put it in gravy it will taste really good.and last for about 6months in airtight bags.i cook mine rare as i like it that way.
Sure. This is Ok. It will not harm the meat or your health. The quality of the meat will diminish, slightly, but that is all. It is perfectly safe to refreeze the meat.
it may take upto24 hours to settle to -18C,remember it has to cool right through the food in the freezer,as well as the walls.also if the food went soft, it is spoilt......cook meat asap then refreeze.
check the damper door vent assembly located between the freezer and refrige compartments and make sure its not frozen open so as to let cold air in all the time, adjust the temp in the refrige and the door should open and close with adjustments,if not then damper door motor assy or the electronic control board is defective that supplies power to this door
Have u checked the thermostat setting? Set it as u usually do and if indeed the door was left open, then try shutting it down for(unplug) 10-12 Hrs and see if behaves normally after wards(set the thermostat too).
If not then have the thermostat replaced.....sodeep
